What I collect
- Where you're going and your email address, when you start the form.
- Your trip details and itinerary, in whatever form you send it, when you finish the form.
- Your name and email, and confirmation that you paid, from Stripe. I never see your card number.
- Your email, if you ask to be told when I reopen after a pause.
Why
To review your trip and send you the report, to answer your questions, and to follow up once if you started the form but didn't finish. I don't sell your information, share it with advertisers, or upload your itinerary to any AI tool.
Who handles it
A few services store or move your information on my behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
- Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions, including uploaded files.
- Stripe processes payment and holds your name, email, and card details.
- Zoho Mail handles my email, so anything you send or receive passes through it.
- Cloudflare provides the domain and the visit counting described below.
How long I keep it
The itinerary and details you send me are kept for 90 days after your review, so I can answer follow-up questions, then deleted. I keep the report I wrote for you as my own record of destinations and prices, but after those 90 days I remove your personal details from it (name and email). Payment records stay in Stripe for as long as tax rules require. Email addresses are kept until you ask me to delete them.
Cookies and tracking
The site sets no cookies of its own and runs no advertising trackers. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It sets no cookies and doesn't identify you. Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payment securely.
Your choices
Email me at any time to see what I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. I'll do it within a few days.
